Elaborate 3D printing
One of the 3D printing applications in the medical field is medical reconstruction technology. “3D Printing Implant (Senella)” being developed by Bella Seno GmbH of Germany (hereinafter referred to as Bella Seno) is the world’s first medical reconstruction technology using 3D printing. This technology is a technique in which an implant made of an absorbent material, manufactured by 3D printing, is placed in the breast or artificial bone lost by breast cancer surgery. Then the patient’s own adipose tissue is injected to form the tissue. The realization of the technology requires complicated and fine 3D printing, but the problem is that the polymer material used for Senella is low in clay and difficult to print with high precision.

Creating a dispensing nozzle for 3D printing for medical use.
Tecdia has developed a dispenser nozzle for 3D printing that is tailored for medical use. Tecdia has succeeded in improving the fluidity of the material by making the inside of the nozzle a tapered shape, with no steps and polishing the inner surface. In addition, by polishing the tip of the nozzle, “dripping” and “threading” can be suppressed, and stable application can be achieved even with complicated shapes.
High-precision craftsmanship cultivated in the semiconductor industry
Tecdia offers a variety of nozzles not only in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, but also in the 3D printing industry such as bioprinting and FDM printing. The semiconductor industry always requires high-precision manufacturing, but the know-how we have cultivated has led to its application to the medical industry.
Contributed to Senella’s breast reconstruction technology.
Tecdia has partnered with BellaSeno to provide dispenser nozzles. Senella’s medical reconstruction technology is in clinical trials in Australia for approval. Tecdia will continue to use its unique processing technology to meet the needs of customers in various industries and contribute to society through manufacturing.
